Why should I choose to install STI’s artificial greens instead of real grass greens?
Installing a natural grass green is very expensive however not nearly as expensive ( in money, time and frustration) as maintaining a real green. Not only do you have to fertilize, mow and water on a regular basis but you have to have specific quantities of chemicals and water, correctly applied to maintain your green properly. You need special equipment – like that used at your golf club. Most golfers who have installed real putting greens spend more time maintaining the green than they do enjoying their green.

One of the worlds best known teaching professionals, David Leadbetter, teaches on an STI nylon putting green at his teaching facility in Orlando Florida. You can pitch into a nylon green however your nylon putting green is primarily designed for chipping and putting. If you desire to hit into your green from 30-40 yards or more out we recommend that you consider our sand filled application.

What Maintenance is required on an STI nylon green?
The STI nylon putting surface is truly maintenance free- you just need to remove debris and leaves to maintain and enjoy a beautiful putting surface for many years. (Our nylon putting greens can be blown off with a leaf blower) You never need to water, mow or roll a nylon green. Unlike a sand filled green that requires rolling,adding sand regularly and top dressing our nylon putting green just sits there and serves you!

What other items can I have added to my green?
For the total short game facility we recommend a nylon putting green with our exclusive matching nylon fringe with a second cut of polypropylene and a sand bunker. STI installs chipping stations and recommend you add landscaping to enhance the beauty of your practice facility.

What is the STI Warranty?
STI putting greens are basically unaffected by the elements. Our putting greens are UV stabilized and water-resistant. STI has installed greens near Buffalo, New York where they are subjected to heavy snow and freezing temperatures - we have putting greens on rooftops in southern Florida and on islands in the Bahamas where they are exposed to excessive heat and direct sun.

We offer a ten year limited warranty against excessive fading, ultra violet exposure and excessive wear. We also offer a limited warranty which covers workmanship and material defects.

What type of products does STI carry?
The STI headquarters are in Jupiter, Florida. STI was founded 10 years ago and moved to a larger warehouse facility three years ago to accommodate the growth of STI. All Above Ground Putting greens, Deluxe Roll Outs, 4’ x 12’ Practice “Roll Outs” and “Do It Yourself Packages “ are manufactured in our warehouse by STI employees. As we maintain and ship our own turf we can often ship your order the same day if necessary.
